This Way Up - Mindfulness Introduction

A timely and accessible Mindfulness refresher

We’re all living busy and increasingly stressful lives these day. Just listening to the news is growing emotional challenge – let alone the pressures of family, health and work in 2026.

So it was great to come across a free online Introductory Mindfulness course – a 4-lesson Australian program put together by a group of expert Cognitive Behavioural Therapists at ThisWayUp.org.au

The course consists of slides, worksheets and audio recordings – and it’s so refreshing to have it in an Australian voice from Australian experts.

THIS WAY UP is a provider of evidence-based, internet-delivered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (iCBT) programs. They are a not-for-profit and joint initiative of St Vincent’s Hospital and the University of New South Wales. Their mission is to reduce the burden of mental illness by providing accessible online treatment for anxiety disorders and related mental health conditions.

They also provide a Sleep Program for free.
