A powerful element in stress management is the practice of mindfulness – getting your head out of “worry mode” and putting your awareness on the present.

Breath awareness is a great way into mindfulness – whether it’s Box Breathing or a breath-based guided meditation audio.

Box breathing is a deep breathing technique that’s a powerful stress reliever and can help manage anxiety. It’s also useful to help lower blood pressure and aid in pain or COPD management. It can be especially helpful for those with lung conditions that make breathing harder.
