Besides being a well-respected Naturopath and Remedial Massage Therapist, Jenie Stroh has also appeared on radio and television around Australia promoting her adaptation of the book, Encyclopedia of Natural Healing (1986).
After graduating from the Southern School of Natural Therapies, MelbourneĀ in 1985 with a Diploma of Naturopathy, she upgraded to a Graduate Diploma in Western Herbal Medicine in 1998 at Victoria University then a Bachelor of Health Science in 2002 and has spent the last 30 years improving her knowledge base through various courses and life’s journey itself.
Jenie attained a Cetificate of Tactile Therapies in 1981 and has continued to upgrade her bodywork skills with a Certificate IV in Massage then Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2004.
She founded her own small business in the Dandenong ranges in Melbourne as well as a weekly clinic in the centre of Melbourne City, where her dedication and passion for natural medicine is appreciated by the hundreds of patients who have visited her over the past 30 years.
Her compassionate nature, empathy and intelligence is evident, and her opinion is often sought by other health professionals. Her professional and confidential approach and wholistic view of health and medicine includes consultation with other medical practitioners including local GPs and other health professionals.
Over the years universities, colleges and adult education centres have engaged her in teaching and lectures around the Melbourne. This has included Herbal Medicine lectures at Victoria University, Kallista Community House and Peppermint Ridge Farm and Massage teaching at Monash University, Southern School of Natural Therapies, Mebourne School of Tactile Therapies, Centre of Adult Education, Collingwood TAFE. Jenie has run numerous private classes as well in various aspects of Natural Therapies and continues to do so as the requests arise.
Part of Jenie’s mandate to encourage self development and understanding has lead her to organise numerous workshops throughout the years for other skilled presenters and facilitators. Some of these workshops have included various approaches to bodywork, illuminating the Sacred Feminine, wholistic healing with emotional release and breath work.
Highly versed in herbal and natural remedies, Jenie has developed her own range of health giving products such as moisturisers and foot creams and herbal tea ranges derived from her own back yard. Due to her thorough knowledge, she was consulted by ‘Gardening Australia’ ABCTV for a story about medicinal herbs in 2000.
JenieĀ is constantly researching and updating her knowledge in many aspects of naturopathic and medical approaches so as to be of maximim benefit to those who choose to consult with her. Jenie is aware of her limitations and thus has a good professional referral network in place to assist you.
Jenie’s life experience stands her in good stead to appreciate the challenges of work and family, the demands and joys of relationships and the balance we all strive towards. She feels blessed to be a parent, a child, a sibling, a friend, a partner and to be able to play regularly in the garden and the forest and with music, mainly singing.
